Burst or frozen pipe

- Do this first
- Shut your main water valve (usually near the meter), then open the lowest faucet to drain pressure.
- How we fix it
- Emergency call-out, cut out the split section, repair or repipe — and we check the rest of the line so it doesn’t happen again.
Drain backing up / slow
- Likely cause
- Grease, roots, or scale choking the line.
- Do this first
- Stop running water into that drain. Skip the chemical drain cleaner — it rarely works and can damage pipes.
- How we fix it
- Free camera inspection to see the actual blockage, then snaking or hydro jetting to clear it properly.
No hot water
- Likely cause
- Failed heating element, thermostat, or an aging tank giving up.
- Do this first
- Check your breaker panel and, on gas units, whether the pilot is lit. Don’t keep resetting a tripping breaker.

- We diagnose on the spot — repair when it makes sense, or install a new tank or tankless unit when it doesn’t.
Sewer smell

- A dried-out trap, a venting problem, or a cracked sewer line letting gas in.

- Run water in every sink, tub, and floor drain for 30 seconds — especially ones you rarely use.

Sump pump alarm / water rising
- Likely cause
- Pump failure, a stuck float switch, or a power issue — often discovered mid-storm.
- Do this first
- Check the pump has power and the float moves freely. Move valuables off the basement floor.

- Emergency pump replacement, plus battery-backup options so the next storm doesn’t catch you.
Visible leak

- A failed joint, supply line, or fixture connection.

- Shut the nearest local valve — under the sink or behind the toilet. If you can’t find one, shut the main.
